Historic Urban Landscapes - an interview to Pr. Daniele Pini

Publié dans 02_Postcards

This text approaches the so-called Historic Urban Landscapes (HUL), the more recent complex way to deal with large and living urban heritage. Since 2005 – the year of the Unesco’ Memorandum of Vienna – the use of “urban landscape” is accepted and it symbolizes an integrated approach to the ‘usual’ urban heritage; that introduces both, recent and contemporary architecture and the notion of sustainable development at the heart of conservation of pre-existing historical urban fabrics.

The themes of EvHe

The EvHe’s team suggests topics and cues, aiming to become reference for an open community of scientists, public and private operators, professionals, scholars and students and simply curious people. The wide range of contents produced, developed and collected by EvHe Evolving Heritage will be shared through the combined use of different media such as digital journal, printed publications, web site, conferences and meetings proceedings. Gaining knowledge and making a steady, critical and constructive debate are to be referred as top targets for EvHe.
